The U15 water polo team from Montenegro secured second place at the Easter tournament held in Varaždin.

Under the leadership of Nenad Vukanić, the team faced a strong challenge from the hosts, with Croatia ultimately winning 11:7 in the final.

The young “sharks” began the championship match with remarkable intensity.

They established an early lead of 4:0 and were ahead 5:4 at halftime. However, the home team surged ahead in the third quarter, executing a decisive 5:0 run that proved insurmountable.

In the Montenegrin lineup, Marko Milinić and Luka Todorović each scored two goals, while Dario Domazetović, Andrej Durutović, and Matija Franeta contributed one goal each.

Montenegro concluded the tournament with two wins, two losses, and one draw.

The team achieved victory over Serbia in both encounters, lost twice to Croatia, and drew against Italy.
