Montenegrin Teams Compete in Dubrovnik Tournament
The prestigious water polo tournament “Tomo Udovicic” for younger age groups is set to kick off in Dubrovnik on Tuesday, April 11.
Participating clubs from Montenegro include Budva, Akvatik Verde, Primorac, Budućnost, and Jadran. This tournament is recognized as one of the finest in Europe for players aged 12 and 14, featuring teams in both categories.
A total of 64 clubs will compete in the tournament, with 212 matches scheduled to take place.
Our local clubs have achieved significant success in prior editions of the tournament, which first occurred in 2016.
Last year, Budva’s U12 team secured a commendable third place.
In the 2019 event, Jadran’s U12 team claimed the top spot, while Primorac finished in fourth.
In 2018, Primorac dominated the U12 category, and also came in second in the under-14 age group.
