The Montenegrin junior women’s team achieved an impressive result at the European Championships held in Podgorica, securing sixth place while our player Natalija Lekić was named the tournament’s MVP.

Next on the agenda are the Montenegrin cadets, who will compete in the same arenas: “Mtel Morača”, “Bemaks”, and “Verde”.

The European Cadet Championship, catering to players under 17, kicks off on Wednesday, bringing together 24 of the best teams from across Europe in our capital.

Following the successful organization and remarkable performance of the junior team, Podgorica is poised for yet another thrilling handball event.

Our cadets will compete in Group E against formidable opponents: France, the Czech Republic, and Lithuania.

The matches will unfold across three venues, allowing fans to rally once again for our young lionesses.

This is another chance for an outstanding performance and another memorable championship in Montenegro, particularly after the European Junior Championships received high praise for its organization.
