Montenegro boasts the top junior player in Europe!

Natalija Lekić has been awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) title at the European Women’s U19 Championship, which took place in Podgorica over the last 12 days.

As a member of our national junior team, Lekić netted 36 goals throughout the tournament. She was an exemplary leader on the field and, despite fierce competition, secured one of the most prestigious individual accolades on the European stage.

This recognition for Lekić marks yet another remarkable achievement for Montenegrin handball, complementing the 6th place our team attained in the championship — the highest rank Montenegro has ever achieved in the junior category.
