Will the New School Be Ready by the Start of the First Semester?

Today, Minister of Education, Science and Innovation Anđela Jakšić-Stojanović, Minister of Public Works Majda Adžović, and Tivat Mayor Željko Komnenović, along with their teams, toured the construction site of the new “Branko Brinić” Elementary School and kindergarten located in Radovići, Krtoli near Tivat.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MESI) has announced that the construction work is in its final stages, and the facility is set to be ready for students and teachers by the start of the first semester.
The project is valued at €4,716,740.28, with a gross construction area of 3,132 square meters.
The new building will house both the elementary school and kindergarten within a single facility on one urban plot, designed according to modern standards and catering to the needs of students and teachers.
According to the Ministry of Music and Performing Arts, part of the facility will serve as a regional department for the Tivat Music School, featuring six classrooms for individual lessons and two for group lessons.
Furthermore, the ministry has indicated that efforts are underway to establish sufficient sports infrastructure to ensure the building meets modern standards in this area as well.
Minister Anđela Jakšić-Stojanović emphasized the importance of investing in educational infrastructure quality across all regions of Montenegro. Concurrently, Minister of Public Works Majda Adžović pointed out that the Montenegrin Government has identified education as a key priority in its agenda.
