NT (45), a resident of Nikšić, was found guilty and received a 16-day prison sentence.
He was brought to court today under an expedited process after he declined to undergo a drug test during a traffic stop the night before. Along with the prison term, he has been prohibited from driving for four months and has accrued the maximum number of penalty points. During the vehicle inspection, police located a small quantity of cocaine intended for personal use, prompting the initiation of special proceedings against him in a regular court process,” stated Marko Đukanović, President of the Budva Minor Offences Court.
A similar ruling was handed down to Beranac AL (28) in a separate case concerning driving under the influence of marijuana.
“He too has been banned from driving for four months and has received the maximum number of penalty points,” announced Đukanović.
