Authorities have submitted a criminal report against AK (33) from Bijelo Polje, who is suspected of stealing a mobile phone, according to the Police Directorate’s announcement.

The police stated that their colleagues from the Bijelo Polje Security Department acted swiftly after receiving a report from a victim claiming her mobile phone was stolen at a train station in the city.

As reported, officers promptly resolved the theft and apprehended a suspect of interest.

“The police managed to identify AK and file a criminal complaint against him on suspicion of stealing the mobile phone while the victim was distracted at the train station, after which he fled the scene,” the statement indicated.

The prosecutor, who was informed about the case, classified the act as theft and directed that charges be filed against AK.
