The Montenegrin handball community is rejoicing as the cadets achieve a significant milestone, securing their first medal in junior competitions since 2010.
The women’s handball squad clinched bronze at the European Championship by triumphing over Spain with a score of 22:20 in the third-place match held at the Bemax Arena in Podgorica.
Montenegro started strong, taking an early 2-0 lead but allowed Spain to take their first goal eight minutes into the match, which shifted the momentum.
