Minors Accused of Several Thefts

The Podgorica police have reported the resolution of seven criminal cases, six of which involve minors.
Authorities have submitted a criminal complaint to the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica against a 17-year-old minor suspected of stealing two iPhones from individuals at the Morača Sports Complex swimming pool. According to the police, the stolen phones were recovered and returned to their rightful owners.
“The suspect minor, along with two other minors aged 17 and 16, allegedly committed two counts of aggravated theft against a business and a catering establishment on June 18. They reportedly used physical force to break down the front doors of these locations, resulting in the theft of 170 euros in cash. A criminal complaint has been submitted regarding these offenses,” the police stated.
A complaint has also been filed against two 17-year-old minors suspected of aggravated theft against a catering business, having used force to break in on June 15, where they searched the premises and stole approximately 300 euros in cash and a mobile phone.
“In connection with their suspected involvement in a theft, minors aged 16 and 17, along with another 17-year-old, were detained. They are believed to have stolen a Polo passenger vehicle from a parking lot on June 21, 2025. The vehicle has been located and returned to the owner,” the announcement indicated.
Additionally, a 48-year-old individual, identified as D.Đ., was arrested for suspected aggravated theft against a person from Podgorica, after allegedly entering the residence through an open window and ransacking the space.
