The Association of Managers of Montenegro (AMM) has partnered with the Institute for Leadership (IoL), a global leadership community in the UK, by signing a Memorandum of Understanding.
This agreement was endorsed by AMM President Budimir Raičković and IoL Executive Director John Mark Williams, establishing AMM as the primary partner for this esteemed organization within the Balkan region.
Founded in 1947, IoL encompasses over 50 managers and leaders from more than 70 countries and is esteemed as a leading global authority on leadership and management.
“Its members hail from a variety of sectors including public, private, and non-profit, and focus on fostering ethical and effective leadership. The IoL hosts numerous educational and professional events annually, such as the International Leadership Weekend in March, the Leadership Live conference in June, a members’ reception in September, and the Annual Leadership Awards in November,” the announcement stated.
IoL’s existing collaborations include partnerships with the Commonwealth Secretariat, the EAPM European Association for Human Resource Management, and more recently, CEC European Managers.
Additionally, the Institute engages with organizations within the Commonwealth, such as the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the Commonwealth Local Government Forum, and the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council.
The Memorandum anticipates AMM’s role as the key strategic partner for IoL in expanding its international footprint and reinforcing its influence in Central and Eastern Europe, with a specific focus on enhancing the AMM Academy’s endeavors.
Plans are also underway to establish a Balkan Center for Leadership and Management, through collaborative efforts, educational initiatives, research, and expert panels.
Raičković expressed that this partnership solidifies AMM’s international acclaim achieved through its commitment to advancing leadership and management culture in Montenegro and the surrounding region.
“It provides new opportunities for our members and emerging leaders for professional growth and networking through high-quality global resources,” stated Raičković.
Williams remarked on the great potential and transformative nature of the Balkan region, highlighting the significance of leadership.
“AMM is recognized as a credible and proactive partner, and we look forward to cultivating a long-lasting and meaningful collaboration,” Williams noted.
This partnership further underscores AMM’s strategic focus on international engagement, knowledge enhancement, and leadership development to tackle the challenges of the contemporary landscape.
