All available personnel from the Bar Protection and Rescue Service are working to extinguish a fire that erupted between the “Porcelanosa” factory and the railway, close to the railway station in the former port economy area. This incident caused a two-hour suspension of rail services.

According to unofficial information provided to “Vijesti” by this service, the fire posed a threat to nearby homes. Fortunately, swift action by firefighters successfully mitigated the risk.

The train scheduled to depart from Bar to Podgorica at 14:30 was delayed by two hours before services resumed to normal.

Firefighters from Bar are still engaged in extinguishing the fire, the cause of which remains undetermined. Once the flames are under control, authorities will launch an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the outbreak.
