A new Municipal Board (MO) for the Socialist People’s Party (SNP) was elected in Rožaje today, comprising 16 members, with Bojan Đurović appointed as the president of the MO, as announced by the SNP.

Đurović expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and highlighted that the board will “immediately commence intensive work focused on strengthening infrastructure and achieving the party’s program objectives.”

He also conveyed his appreciation to the previous leadership and board members, noting that they would continue to collaborate for the prosperity of Rožaje and the enhancement of the SNP in this region, according to the statement.

Additionally, SNP leader Vladimir Joković attended the session, along with party Presidency members Miodrag Bulatović and Ivan Radević.

In his address, Joković congratulated the newly elected members on their positions and emphasized that “over the years, it has been particularly challenging to uphold the SNP’s ideals in multiethnic environments like Rožaje.”

“The SNP has never compromised its principles and has consistently supported its people, irrespective of political circumstances. Our strength lies in individuals who believe in the values of honesty, justice, and unity – this is why I am confident that the SNP in Rožaje will grow stronger,” he stated.

“Lastly, it was shared that the SNP aims to establish a more robust and organized presence at both local and state levels, focusing on building citizen trust and effectively communicating the party’s policies. The SNP Rožaje will be a crucial pillar in the ongoing development of a stable, just, and responsible Montenegro,” the statement concluded.
