Young Water Polo Athletes Compete at Belgrade Tournament
The Montenegro Under-20 water polo team is set to compete in an international tournament in Belgrade from June 3 to 5.
This event serves as a preparatory phase ahead of the World Championship taking place in Bucharest and Otopeni from June 10 to 18.
Head coach Petar Radanović will be leading a team of 15 players during the Belgrade tournament.
The roster features Ilija Radović, Dragoljub Ćetković, Matija Sladović, Tim Perov, Tadija Matijašević, Marko Mršić, Lazar Vukićević, Strahinja Gojković, Srđan Janović, David Stevović, Balša Vučković, Danilo Stupar, Jovan Vujović, Neđo Baštrica, and Milan Nikaljević.
Montenegro is scheduled to face Australia on Saturday at 9:30 AM.
The following day, the team will take on Croatia at 9:30 AM and Hungary at 8 PM, while matches against Serbia at noon and the United States at 6:45 PM are planned for Monday.
At the World Championship, Montenegro’s young team will compete in a group alongside Spain, Italy, and Croatia.
