The day before the deadline, tensions are rising in the NBA. The atmosphere in Dallas remains charged as frustrated Mavericks supporters are calling for refunds on their season tickets.
Regardless, the statistics are unyielding, claiming that Luka Dončić is the best player under 26 in the history of the premier basketball league.
In a blockbuster trade, Dončić has been sent to the LA Lakers.
In light of this, the Mavericks are taking steps to appease their dissatisfied fans. They have proposed refunds to those who canceled their season tickets following the trade of long-time team star Luka Dončić to the Lakers, as reported by ESPN.
“We value our relationship with every season ticket holder. Our representatives are here to address any concerns these fans might have,” stated Mavericks vice president of corporate communications, Erin Feingold.
Following the unexpected trade, some Dallas fans have started protesting outside the arena.
