The Bar police intervention unit apprehended MB (18) and AH (23) after discovering nearly 600 grams of marijuana in their possession and in the parked vehicle they occupied, as reported by the Police Directorate (UP) today.

According to the UP statement, “Members of the Intervention Unit of the Bar Security Department conducted a check on two individuals found in a stationary vehicle, uncovering narcotics in their possession. Specifically, during the examination of MB (18) and AH (23), who were in a parked Golf 6 with Bar license plates, the police seized multiple packages containing a substance believed to be marijuana, weighing a total of 581.4 grams, along with scales for precise measurement.”

The authorities suspect that MB and AH purchased the marijuana for 950 euros, intending to divide it into smaller packages for street sale.

“MB and AH have been taken into custody on suspicion of committing the crime of unauthorized production, possession, and distribution of narcotic drugs. They will be presented to the acting prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica for further proceedings within the legal timeframe,” stated the UP.
