“Young ‘Sharks’ Outperform Croatia in Belgrade”
The Montenegro youth water polo team triumphed over Croatia today with a score of 9:7 in the second round of the Belgrade tournament.
This marks the second victory for the Montenegrin team, who convincingly defeated Australia 11:3 in their tournament opener yesterday.
Jovan Vujović, Lazar Vukićević, and David Stevović each scored twice for Montenegro, with Marko Mršić, Danilo Stupar, and Neđo Baštrica contributing one goal apiece.
Petar Radanović’s squad is set to compete against Hungary later today at 20:00.
Upcoming matches include a showdown against Serbia at 12:00 and the United States at 18:45 tomorrow.
This tournament in Belgrade serves as the final preparation before the World Championship, which will take place in Bucharest and Otopeni from June 10 to 18.
