Your ticket to Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and Turkey is secured—now it’s time to celebrate!

The Montenegrin women’s volleyball team will conclude their historic qualifiers against Latvia in Kolašin, marking their first-ever qualification for the European Championship.

The match is scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday) at 19:00 in the northern city, providing a perfect opportunity for fans to welcome Jovo Caković’s team after their impressive victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in Goražde a few days ago.

Admission to the Sports Center is free, and the game against Latvia will determine which team secures the top spot for Eurovolley.

“Despite our achievements thus far, we are committed to staying focused and aiming to crown our hard work this summer with a win in front of our fans,” said Saška Đurović.

Latvia remains a “debtor” after narrowly winning the first match in Jelgava 3:2.

“We anticipate a tough match; we are familiar with the Latvian team, having played against them last year without a win. I believe it’s time for a rematch,” Saška expressed her optimism.

She also had a message for the supporters.

“I encourage everyone to come and show their support. Your backing means everything to us—be our seventh player and help make this moment unforgettable.”

Melisa Cenović, who returned to the national squad after recovering from injury, aims for a flawless conclusion to the qualifications.

“I’m expecting a great game as we strive for victory, which would secure first place in the group. I believe we can achieve this and I’d like to invite all sports fans from Kolašin. We have realized the dream of many generations by qualifying for the European Championship, and I hope to cap off these qualifiers with another win,” emphasized Melisa.

Before the final round, 19 of the 24 spots at the European Championship are filled. Besides the four host nations mentioned earlier, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, and Slovakia have also booked their places based on previous Eurovolleyball performances.

Moreover, alongside Montenegro, Slovenia, Germany, Romania, Greece, Spain, and Belgium have qualified for the continental championship through the qualifiers.
