Alabaru Faces €430,000 Charge for Guarantees

“In response to the rumors circulating in the media regarding the purported preferential treatment of Eagle Hills in the public tender for leasing the beach at Velika Plaza, I would like to clarify that Eagle Hills, which was the top bidder among nine contenders, has opted out of leasing seven of the beaches.”
“As per the current legal framework and the established procedures, the Public Company for the Management of the Maritime Zone of Montenegro has activated the provided bank guarantees and recovered an amount totaling 430,000 euros,” stated Mladen Mikijelj, Director of the Public Company for the Management of the Maritime Zone.
He dismissed all claims of special treatment.
“All actions undertaken by the Public Company were executed with complete transparency, equally for all participants in the tender, and were fully in compliance with the law and relevant protocols,” concluded Mikijelj.
