The Budva police have detained a 52-year-old man from Nikšić, currently residing in Petrovac, on accusations of engaging in illicit sexual conduct with his underage daughter.

This information was informally confirmed to Vijesti by the Police Directorate.

According to reports, the allegations were brought to light by the minor daughter of the accused.

The Higher State Prosecutor’s Office has taken over the case.

The Police Directorate stated that the Budva police apprehended an individual suspected of illicit sexual acts associated with the crime of rape by abuse of position.

“It is alleged that the aforementioned acts were perpetrated by AM (52) from Nikšić, living in Petrovac, against his minor child over the course of three to four months. He has been presented to the prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office for further proceedings along with a criminal complaint,” according to the official statement.
