In anticipation of the IV Congress of the Civic Movement URA, taking place on July 5th at Lovćen, the Municipal Board of URA Plav has endorsed Dritan Abazović as a candidate for party president, along with the nominations of Ana Novaković Đurović, Milena Vuković, and Blaža Rađenović for the vice-presidency.
“The principles of URE unite Montenegro and propel our society forward. Unfortunately, we find ourselves isolated in this struggle, as the political landscape exhibits a growing divide between blocs. It is our responsibility to counteract the rise of populism and nationalism, while also preventing the resurgence of criminal factions in positions of power. Montenegro requires a competent political approach now more than ever, one that can steer the nation towards progress and EU integration,” stated the Plav-based URE.
They noted that the municipal committees of the URE are concluding their meetings, after which the Main Committee will convene to validate the nominated candidates, finalize the delegate list for the IV Congress, and suggest amendments to the party Statute.
