A helicopter from the Ministry of Interior has been deployed to Durmitor in response to a fire reported in the Lojanik area.
This marks the second incident where the Lojanik belt, the narrowest part of the Durmitor massif, has faced firefighting efforts.
This morning, the crew of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ helicopter engaged in a critical mission near Pestingrad above Kotor, where they assisted in the evacuation of a Belgian climber who had veered off the marked trail and become stranded on the edge of the Škurda River canyon.
