The Tivat-Jaz boulevard needs to be improved by July, aligning with the onset of the peak tourist season, to enhance accessibility to Tivat airport and ensure a better coastal experience for both residents and visitors, stated Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.

He mentioned that an additional three kilometers of this route should be paved by July.

Spajić remarked on the X network: “In a meeting I convened with the contractor and partners regarding this vital infrastructure project, we assessed the significant construction challenges, aiming to minimize disruption on this major roadway during the bustling tourist season.”

As per his information, out of the total 15.5 kilometers of the boulevard, five kilometers have already been asphalted.

“We need to operate at full capacity throughout the year so that we can greet next summer with higher quality roads and reduced traffic congestion,” Spajić added.
