Gojković Reveals the World Cup Roster
Vladimir Gojković, the head coach of Montenegro’s water polo national team, has revealed the roster for the upcoming World Championship taking place in Fukuoka.
The team comprises: Lazar Andrić, Aljoša Mačić, Đuro Radović, Kanstantsin Averka, Uroš Čučković, Vlado Popadić, Stefan Vidović, Bogdan Đurđić, Aleksa Ukropina, Miroslav Perković, Vladan Spaić, Dušan Matković, Vasilije Radović, Petar Tešanović, and Jovan Vujović.
Montenegro will compete in a group featuring Spain, South Africa, and Serbia. The group winner will advance directly to the quarterfinals, while the second and third place teams will enter play-offs to secure a spot in the top eight.
The World Cup is set to take place from July 14 to 30.
The Montenegrin water polo team is currently preparing for their journey to Kashiwazaki, Japan, where they will train prior to their departure to Fukuoka for the championship.
