Just a week after their loss in the historic derby, Partizan basketball players have significantly boosted their chances of making it to the Euroleague playoffs.

Under the leadership of Željko Obradović, the team achieved their second consecutive away victory this season, part of a remarkable streak of four away wins following an impressive performance in Monaco.

They triumphed over Monaco with a score of 86:69, marking their 14th victory in the European elite, a match they dominated from start to finish.

Partizan established a double-digit lead in the first half, and although Monaco narrowed the gap to four points in the third quarter, the Belgrade squad, spearheaded by Karlik and Tyreke Jones, maintained control throughout the match.

With less than a quarter remaining, it became evident that Obradović had outmaneuvered the legendary Vasilis Spanoulis of Panathinaikos and Olympiacos.

Sterling Brown led the way for Partizan, scoring 18 points, followed by Tyreke Jones with 17, and Brandon Davis contributing 15.

On the losing side for Monaco, which recorded their 10th defeat in 26 matches, Nick Calathes made a mark with 13 points, along with six rebounds and six assists.

Meanwhile, in Barcelona, Olympiacos enjoyed a narrow victory against 90:88, thanks to a last-second basket by Evan Fournier, marking their 19th win.

Duško Ivanović’s Virtus faced defeat at home against Paris, with a final score of 83:77, while Baskonia fulfilled expectations as favorites, overcoming Maccabi in Vitoria 89:82.
