After suffering a defeat against Partizan in their last match, SC Derby’s basketball team has the opportunity to get back on track. Petar Mijović’s squad will take on Krka tomorrow (17) at “MTEL Dvorana Morača” as part of the 20th round of the AdmiralBet ABA League.

The “students” fell to the Novo Mesto team in their earlier encounter this season (97:91). With a current record of six wins and 13 losses, a victory would help them create more distance from the relegation zone, as Krka, sitting in 14th place, has two fewer wins.

“We have another crucial game ahead of us. Krka is a challenging team to prepare for. They have an offensive focus, with many players capable of scoring. Defensively, we need to maintain a high level of aggression and consistently apply pressure on their primary shooters. Offensively, we must stay highly alert against both their primary and alternative defensive setups,” stated SC Derby coach Petar Mijović in the match preview.

At the helm of Krka is former SC Derby coach Dejan Jakara.
