We Anticipate Uncertainty in the Final Outcome

Inter Milan’s coach Simone Inzaghi declared that his team has rightfully earned their spot in the Champions League final, emphasizing that the upcoming match against Paris Saint-Germain will be unpredictable.

“This is the Champions League final. We deserved to be here. Our journey has been remarkable from the start. We have one final challenge left to claim this trophy… With world and European champions in our ranks, we know how to prepare for a Champions League final, just like we would for a European or World Cup final. We understand that tomorrow’s match will be highly unpredictable,” said Inzaghi during a press conference.

Inter and Paris Saint-Germain are set to clash in Munich on Saturday for the Champions League final.

Inter concluded the Champions League group stage in fourth place, conceding only one goal in eight matches, having eliminated Feyenoord, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona along the way to the final.

In their domestic season, Inter missed out on the Italian championship title (with Napoli claiming the trophy), while PSG secured their 13th French championship title convincingly.

Inzaghi underscored that “focus and determination” will be essential during the final.

“We need focus and determination, but not obsession. The final should not become an obsession,” Inzaghi remarked, adding that injured defender Benjamin Pavard may also be fit for tomorrow’s match.

The Milan club has enjoyed three European championship titles, in 1964, 1965, and 2010, and were narrowly defeated by Manchester City in the last final two years ago (1:0).

“We have evolved and grown together as a team. Competing against top rivals, we’ve broken records for being unbeaten (Bayern has remained unbeaten at home in the Champions League since April 2021). We’ve demonstrated that we deserve respect,” stated Inter striker Lautaro Martinez.

The Inter-PSG showdown will take place on Saturday in Munich at 21:00.
