Montenegrin Water Polo Team Discovers Quarterfinal Opponent

The Montenegrin cadet water polo team celebrated an impressive performance in the group stage of the European Championship in Podgorica, earning themselves two days of rest. They discovered their opponent for the quarterfinals this evening.
Nenad Vukanić’s squad is considered the favorite to reach the finals, facing Turkey in the quarterfinals, which today triumphed over Romania (11:8) in the open pool of SC “Morača”.
Montenegro made a remarkable impression during their first three matches at the championship, finishing first in their group after defeating Hungary, Italy, and Spain.
The match against Turkey is set for Friday at 20:30. If our national team succeeds, they will advance to the semifinals to face the winner of the matchup between Spain and Greece on Saturday.
