“I’ve Closed the Door on Boxing Forever”

Former world boxing champion Tyson Fury has stated that he will never make a comeback to competition.

Fury has been out of the boxing ring since his defeat to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch last December.

The British boxer had recently expressed interest in a trilogy fight with Usyk, and there’s ongoing talk regarding a potential matchup against fellow compatriot Anthony Joshua; however, he has dismissed the idea of returning to the sport.

While attending the horse races in Doncaster, Fury was asked if he would consider stepping back into the ring, to which he firmly responded:

“Never”.

“I’m too old; look at my beard, it’s gray. Boxing is a sport for the young,” added the 36-year-old Fury.
