The spouse of Podgorica’s Mayor Saša Mujović, Danijela, has filed a report against journalist Vesna Rajković Nenadić with the police.

Rajković Nenadić mentioned on Facebook that she received a police call after the mayor’s wife reported her, requesting clarity on her commentary regarding a post about Danijela’s slippers, and expressed her readiness to provide a statement on Monday.

“Greote from the liberators. Everyone dresses in Cotton. This is 100 percent fake, which is what my son would say when he doubts whether it’s original,” Rajković Nenadić stated on her Facebook, sharing a photo of Danijela Mujović in Dior slippers.

Mujović announced on her Instagram that she will now pursue legal action against anyone who posts her photograph or mentions her on any social media platform.

“I reported the lady to the police for harassment, and I will also initiate further legal actions against her, so she can clarify her motives to the judges,” Mujović remarked.

On the other hand, Rajković Nenadić indicated that she plans to reiterate what she stated in her previous post.

“Given that bots have been reacting to my post with various insults and hate speech for days, and now Mrs. Mujović has also responded, I believe I’ve achieved my objective. No matter how much I might seem to be focusing on Mrs. Mujović, her beauty and style are not my priority after 25 years; I’ve dedicated myself to serious journalism. That’s why our professional paths have never crossed. The issue is that in a country where many people struggle to make ends meet, the mayor’s wife is flaunting Dior slippers. That raises questions of decency, similar to our exploration of Lidija’s Dior bags and their costs. It’s all measured by the same standards. We must accept that holding public offices, whether ourselves or our partners, makes us more susceptible to criticism,” Rajković Nenadić wrote on Facebook.

“Vijesti” has previously published numerous articles about the outfits of Lidija Đukanović, the wife of Milo Đukanović. Unlike Mujović, Lidija Đukanović has never pursued legal action against “Vijesti” or filed any complaints about such articles.
