The offense was solid from nearly the start to the finish, but SC Derby’s players had to fortify their defense to tackle a challenging Krka team.

Thanks to timely timeouts from coach Petar Mijović, the “Students” regrouped and achieved their seventh victory in the AdmiralBet ABA League, winning 101:90, likely alleviating any concerns about relegation…

Luka Bogavac contributed 11 of the team’s first 18 points; however, the visitors from Novo Mesto found ample scoring opportunities, and the halftime score stood at 54:51.

Although Dejan Jakara’s team briefly took the lead in the third quarter, Nikola Pavlićević proved his value once again, ready to contribute whether on the court for five, ten, or 20 minutes…

The seasoned point guard netted two three-pointers in the third quarter, countering Krka’s offense, while Bogavac closed the deal, again emerging as the standout player for Petar Mijović’s squad.

The excitement settled with four and a half minutes remaining when Igor Drobnjak effortlessly scored on a fast break to make it 91:76…

Ultimately, the score climbed to the century mark as Krka posed no further challenges in the “MTEL Morača Hall.”

Bogavac finished with 22 points, outpacing Erik Neil by two, while Pavlićević added 14 (three-pointers 6-4). Zoran Nikolić and Drobnjak also reached double figures with 11 points each..
