Ivan Vujović, the president of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and a key figure in the European Alliance, stated today that the President of Montenegro’s Parliament, Andrija Mandić, is more concerned with reviving the criminal Chetnik ideology than with the victims.
“This is the same ideology that supported the occupiers and facilitated mass ethnic cleansing, even handing Serbian children from Kozara over to the Ustashas in Jasenovac. It is the same ideology responsible for the genocide in Srebrenica during the 90s,” Vujović posted on the social media platform X.
He emphasized that fascism will not prevail.
“During the liberation efforts against Nazi oppression, innocent victims fell at Zidani Most, as they did in numerous locations throughout Europe where communism never existed. This is a different discussion, yet these victims are being exploited to validate an ideology based on blood and soil. Fascism will not prevail,” said Vujović.
Earlier today, Mandić placed a wreath in Kamniška Bistrica to honor the victims of the Zidani Bridge, as announced by the Parliament of Montenegro.
