Dečić Admiralbet secured a 1:0 victory over Mornar in the final of the Montenegrin Football Cup, earning a spot in the Conference League qualifiers.

Tuzan’s coach, Nenad Brnović, shared his initial thoughts in an interview with RTCG.

“I want to express my gratitude to the previous coaches, Peković and Mulalić, for selecting and assembling this talented team. We managed to score at a crucial moment; in the second half, we opted to defend more, even though there were opportunities for counterattacks that we could have exploited better. Although it wasn’t our finest performance, our victory was well-deserved. This match was pivotal for our season; we understood what winning the trophy would mean, and while it might have added pressure on the players, the outcome is unforgettable,” Brnović remarked, lifting the Cup trophy for the second time as a coach, having previously done so in 2023 with Sutjeska.

“A heartfelt thank you to the players; they truly gave their all, and they deserve this win the most. As for my future, I have a contract for another year, along with a gentleman’s agreement with the club management to discuss matters after the season ends. For now, we just want to celebrate this achievement.”
