Divanhana and Perper to Perform at the Tamburitza Orchestra Festival in Bijelo Polje

The Twenty-second International Tamburitza Orchestra Festival is set to take place in Bijelo Polje’s town square on July 29th and 30th, featuring eight acclaimed tamburitza orchestras from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Montenegro.
According to the Cultural Center, the festival will welcome the Bosnian and Herzegovina band “Divanhana” alongside the Montenegrin group “Perper.”
Numerous accompanying events will enrich the festival, starting on July 23 with the “Evening of Poetry and Songs.” This event will showcase poet Marko Milošević and singer-songwriter Boris Režak, followed by book launches, art exhibitions, and other cultural and artistic activities.
The “Bijelopolje Business Forum” (BBF) will also be held during the festival, gathering business leaders, guests from the diaspora, and economic experts, as stated by the Cultural Center director, Edin Smailović.
This festival is organized under the patronage of the Municipality of Bijelo Polje, with the Public Institution “Vojislav Bulatović Strunjo” Cultural Center serving as the executive producer.
The event has received support from the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro.
