Reconstruction of Vojislavljevića Street: A Government Marketing Push, Not a Genuine Infrastructure Initiative

Regrettably, it appears that the reconstruction of Vojislavljevića Street is merely a marketing ploy of the current government rather than a genuine infrastructure initiative, as stated by the president of the European Union Councilors’ Club in the Capital City Assembly.
“Vojislavljevića Street is once more deserted. This might be due to a lack of interest from TV crews in covering statements today, resulting in no urgency regarding the visible work. Over the past two days, the street was dug up to create the illusion that progress was underway for the cameras, but that effort has since stalled. There are again no machines or workers present, only dust, chaos, and traffic jams. Zabjelo was entirely congested today from the early morning,” Mašković expressed in a post on the Iks platform.
He pointed out that expropriation has only been finalized for the initial kilometer, and it seems the work is being conducted solely in line with the television filming schedule, rather than adhering to realistic timelines.
“This situation no longer feels like mere improvisation; it blatantly mocks the citizens who face the repercussions of their negligence on a daily basis,” concluded the European Union councilor.
