With the reopening of Israeli airspace, local carriers El Al, Israir, and Arkia are set to restart their flights on the Tel Aviv – Tivat route starting July 1, according to Airports of Montenegro (ACG).
During the summer schedule, these airlines are expected to operate approximately 30 weekly rotations, the announcement mentioned.
“From January 1 to June 22, Airports of Montenegro processed about 1.1 million passengers, marking an eight percent increase compared to the same period last year, which was a record. This number is also 27 percent higher than in the pre-pandemic year of 2019. By the end of 2024, we anticipate serving over three million passengers for the first time,” stated the ACG.
This summer, around 50 airlines are operational in Tivat, with 45 in Podgorica, the report concluded.
