Following a session at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, A. O., who is accused of injuring a minor with a metal bar, has been placed under detention for up to 72 hours.

According to the Podgorica Public Prosecutor’s Office, the decision to detain him was based on reasonable suspicion of having committed the offense of minor bodily harm.

“On June 7, 2025, at approximately 2 a.m., in front of the ‘DH’ dining establishment, the suspect inflicted minor injuries on a minor by striking him on the head with a metal bar. Notably, this individual was previously convicted of a similar offense during his youth,” stated the Podgorica Public Prosecutor’s Office.
