This morning, traffic in Montenegro is flowing smoothly on dry roads, as reported by the Automobile and Motorcycle Association (AMSCG). They recommend avoiding long journeys during the hottest hours of the day due to high temperatures.
According to the AMSCG, visibility remains good across most of the nation’s roadways.
Drivers are urged to exercise maximum caution, adapting to road conditions and adhering to traffic regulations.
Traffic is currently halted on the regional road Đurđevića Tara – Mojkovac in Sokolovina due to a rockfall as part of rehabilitation efforts.
Reconstruction work on the regional road R-29 Bar – Kamenički most Krute will lead to traffic suspension from 11 AM to 1 PM and from 4 PM to 6 PM.
On the M-2 main road, traffic is occurring alternately in one lane on the Lepenac – Ribarevina, Ribarevina – Poda, and Poda – Berane sections, with temporary holds not exceeding 30 minutes.
On the M-3 Plužine – Jasenovo Polje main road, traffic is limited to one lane alternately in work zones, controlled by traffic lights between Zaborje and Jasenovo Polje.
The AMSCG informed that the traffic pattern on the regional road R-19, between Trešnjevik and Andrijevica, has shifted from two-way to one-way at work sites.
Additionally, Vojisavljevića Street in Podgorica is closed for vehicular traffic due to boulevard construction, with diversions to alternative routes.
On the M-6 Pljevlja-Đurđevića Tara main road, the traffic flow has switched from two-way to one-way at various work zones.
From 5 PM to 7 PM, traffic on the M-6 highway along the Šavnik – Žabljak section will temporarily revert from two-way to one-way due to the rehabilitation of the Provalija landslide.
On the M-3 main road, the traffic flow between Šćepan Polje and Danilovgrad has changed from two-way to alternating due to ongoing asphalting.
Furthermore, the AMSCG indicated that traffic patterns will be temporarily modified to alternating for the reconstruction of access roads leading to the Đurđevića Tara bridge.
