Orlando hoops star Mack McClung made waves in San Francisco by clinching the All-Star dunk contest title for a remarkable third consecutive time.
This G League standout dazzled the crowd with a spectacular performance, achieving perfect scores on all four of his dunks, culminating in his third straight victory.
Prior to his achievement, only Nate Robinson had claimed three titles (in 2006, 2009, and 2010).
McClung’s efforts included an impressive first dunk over a vehicle and a final dunk over Ivan Mobley, who was holding the basketball above his head.
The skills competition saw Cleveland players Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley emerge victorious.
The dynamic duo from the Cavaliers first triumphed over Zachary Richards and Alex Sar, followed by a win against Draymond Green and Moses Moody. Mitchell and Mobley completed their round in just one minute.
This year’s competition also witnessed the historic disqualification of Chris Paul and Victor Wembanyama, members of San Antonio, for rule infractions.
Miami’s Tyler Hiro took home the crown in the three-point shooting contest.
Hiro outpaced Buddy Hield and Darius Garland in the finals.
After advancing with 19 points, he clinched victory with a pair of scoring shots worth three points, finishing with an impressive total of 24 points.
