Carlo Ancelotti, the new head coach of the Brazil national football team, has revealed his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay, featuring veteran midfielder Casemiro.
The thirty-three-year-old Manchester United player, Casemiro, captained Brazil at the 2022 World Cup but has not represented the national team in over a year.
Notably absent from the roster is striker Neymar, who is still in the recovery phase from a significant injury.
The Italian manager arrived in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday after departing Real Madrid, marking the first time in a century that a foreign coach has managed the five-time world champions in a full-time capacity.
