Redžić wins the trophy of the first “Night of Champions” show in Plav

Redžić Claims Victory at Inaugural “Night of Champions” Event in Plav

Norwegian boxer Eldar Redžić was awarded the title of best fighter at the international boxing event “Night of Champions” held in Plav.

This inaugural boxing event in Plav was organized in celebration of the traditional “Blueberry Days,” with BK Zlatičanin serving as the technical organizer.

The event was sponsored by the Municipality of Plav along with the Boxing Association. Redžić, a local from Plav, earned the best boxer award by defeating Danlo Marković in the welterweight category.

Radisav Lončar from BK “Power boxing” received the title of best domestic boxer, while the best foreign boxer accolade went to Dimitros Cimlis from Greece. Noa Henriksen from Norway was recognized as the best technician. The match recognized as the most competitive featured Damjan Petrović against Lazar Mandić from Serbia.

The first edition of this international boxing show in Plav aims to become a regular event, showcasing a total of 14 matches across age categories: pioneers, juniors, youth, and seniors, with participants from Norway, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Albania, Greece, and Montenegro.

Results – 57kg: Naomi Kreštalica (BiH) – Milona Eleni (Greece) not scored.

PIONEERS (2013-2014) – 31kg: Bajram Troplini (Albania) – Abdulah Balić (Montenegro) no score; 53kg: Hajrudin Đozgić (Montenegro) – Gavrilo Savić (Serbia) 3:0.

JUNIORS (2009-2010) – 52kg: Dragan Muratović (Montenegro) – Ljuba Mitrović (Serbia) 3:0; 54kg: Sultan Imeri (Montenegro) – Andrija Nikitović (Montenegro) 3:0; 60kg: Vlatko Borozan (Montenegro) – Dimitros Timlis (Greece) 3:0; 63kg: Dušan Nekić (Serbia) – Vasilis Biselas (Greece) 0:3; 66kg: Damjan Petrović (Serbia) – Lazar Mandić (Serbia) 2:1; 70kg: Veselin Dedić (Montenegro) – Andreas Tsimlis (Greece) 2:1; 80kg: Jovan Miladinović (Serbia) – Vasilije Kovčić (Serbia) 0:3 (disqualification).

YOUNG (2007-2008) – 67kg: Danilo Marković (Montenegro) – Eldar Redžić (Norway) 0:3.

SENIORS 2006 – 71kg: Viktor Borozan (Montenegro) – Džafer Kaza (Albania) 0:3 (submission); 75kg: Hoah Henriksen (Norway) – Davorin Brajković (Croatia) 3:0 (disqualification); 86kg: Radisav Lončar (Montenegro) – Goran Kožul (BiH) 3:0 (submission).
