They’re blocking access to the beach they lost in the tender.
The tenant of the Sveti Stefan hotel, “Adriatic Properties,” has erected a metal fence and tall planters today, blocking access to the swimming area on the right beach in Sveti Stefan.
This has been confirmed by controllers from the Public Company for Coastal Zone Management, who were on-site today and compiled an official report that Vijesti has obtained.
The controllers took action after receiving reports that swimmers were unable to access the beach and that a barricade had been established in the parking lot.
“The inspection determined that on the public area connecting the parking lot with the beach marked 21C, the company ‘Adriatic Properties’ doo installed a metal fence and tall planters secured with metal wire, thereby obstructing access to the beach. It is essential to send a notification to the relevant inspection authorities for them to take further actions within their jurisdiction,” states the official note, which Vijesti has accessed.
As reported to Vijesti, the public company “Morsko dobro” has sent an urgent letter to the Municipal Inspectorate of Budva to visit the site and remove the unlawfully placed barricade.
This beach was lost in the previous tender by “Adriatic Properties,” which had maintained control over it for the last decade.
They contested the decision made by the “Morski dobro” commission, which deemed their complaint unfounded.
