Brighton’s Japanese Star Has Big Ambitions: Vincent Kompany
Bayern has made significant acquisitions from the Premier League over the past two years, including Harry Kane and Mikel Olis. They also added Eric Dier to their roster and are now looking to make another purchase on the Isle of Man.
The Bavarian club is reportedly showing interest in Brighton striker Kaoru Mitoma.
According to Germany’s Sky Sports, the Munich giants have already reached out to Brighton, who are open to discussions.
Mitoma has a contract that runs until the summer of 2027, and the “Seagulls” had previously rejected a hefty bid from Saudi Arabia during the winter transfer window, with Al Nasr offering a staggering 90 million euros.
Five months later, a transfer seems likely, as Bayern coach Vincent Kompany views Mitoma as the perfect addition to the left side of the attack, especially if Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sane depart the club.
Brighton might also be without striker Joao Pedro, with Chelsea reportedly offering 60 million euros for him.
