The Parliamentary Inquiry Committee has accomplished its objectives following the testimony of Milan Paunović, a former official from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, according to the Europe Now Movement.

“Paunović articulated significant doubts regarding the links between specific security sector entities and crime alongside the political authorities of that era in a transparent and professional manner. Notably, President of the Security Committee, Miodrag Laković, presented his own experiences with systemic pressures, raising a critical question: Is there a political affinity to the DPS that unifies all discrepancies within the security structures? It is essential that abuses of power are brought to light. Only through truth can we ensure that such occurrences are prevented in the future,” the PES stated on Iks.
