Vembanyama Diagnosed with Blood Clot, Out for Remainder of Season

Victor Wembanyama, the French basketball player for San Antonio, is set to miss the remainder of the season following the discovery of a blood clot in his right shoulder, as announced by the Texas club.

The blood clot was identified after he returned to the team following the All-Star Game.

As the first overall pick in the 2023 draft, Wembanyama could also miss the upcoming European Championship this summer.

This season, Wembanyama averaged 24.3 points, 11 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.
