The basketball club Partizan has announced that tickets for the upcoming Euroleague match against Baskonia will not be available for day-of purchases, owing to a reduced arena capacity resulting from a Euroleague penalty.
“Due to the fine imposed on Basketball Club Partizan for fan behavior during the 24th round match against Red Star, day-of tickets for this match will not be sold. The disciplinary action against the black and whites includes a €50,000 fine and a 20% reduction in the arena’s capacity for the first upcoming Euroleague home game,” as stated on the Belgrade club’s website.
Partizan will host Baskonia at the Belgrade Arena on February 28th at 20:30 PM, during the 27th round of the Euroleague.
Sections from entrance 220 on the right to 226 on the left will be completely vacant, and the club will provide season ticket holders from these sectors with instructions regarding their assigned seats ahead of the match.
Tickets for the game can be bought through the “resale” option, allowing season ticket holders to sell their seats for individual matches. This resale option became available today at noon.
Partizan has urged its fans to avoid making any “reckless gestures” or incidents that could financially affect the club in the future.
As it stands, Partizan is eighth in the Euroleague standings with 14 wins and 12 losses, while Baskonia is positioned 14th with a record of 11 wins and 15 losses.
