The Municipality of Kolašin has launched an international competition for the conceptual architectural design of a city garage that incorporates features of a multifunctional building, to be situated in the inner city.
The competition commenced two days ago, and all interested individuals and teams have until noon on October 10, 2025, to submit their proposals. The competition aims to secure a modern, functional, and environmentally friendly architectural design through public bidding, which will seamlessly blend into Kolašin’s urban landscape and enhance the public space.
As detailed by the local government, this competition marks a significant advance in enhancing Kolašin’s urban identity and clearly demonstrates the municipality’s dedication to sustainable urban development.
The competition focuses on the conceptual design of a facility in planning zone C, specifically subzone C2 of the Detailed Urban Plan “Centar” Kolašin, on urban plots UP1 and UP2. The new building should incorporate modern parking standards, energy efficiency, landscape design, and public interest facilities, including administrative, catering, and commercial functions.
