“The Future and Next Season: Blues Celebrate Their 30th Champions League Appearance”

The two-time European champions will enter the elite league for the 30th time, as the Women’s Handball Club Budućnost prepares to compete in the Champions League next season.
According to the Podgorica club’s announcement, Buducnost has earned its spot in the Champions League for the 2025/26 season based on rankings from the European Handball Federation (EHF).
Montenegro ranks eighth in the EHF standings, ensuring that our nation has a secured entry into the premier competition in Europe.
Alongside the Montenegrin champions, ten other teams are guaranteed a spot, including champions from Hungary, Norway, Denmark, France, Romania, Germany, and Slovenia, in addition to the EHF European League winner for the 2024/25 season and the second-place team from Hungary’s 2024/25 championship.
The European Handball Federation will also extend six special invitations for the upcoming Champions League season.
Before the new season kicks off, the “blues” have an important match to prepare for, facing Rapid Bucharest on Sunday at 4 PM. A victory in this match will secure their place in the knockout phase.
