Accused of Burglarizing Restaurants to Steal Beverages

KV (39) from Nikšić has been apprehended on suspicions of breaking into two catering venues and pilfering a significant quantity of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, totaling over 1,000 euros, during the period of April to May this year, as announced by the Police Directorate (UP).
The statement also mentioned that the prosecutor from the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Nikšić has ordered his detention for 72 hours.
“Officers from the Nikšić Security Department identified and apprehended KV (39) from Nikšić, under suspicion of committing aggravated theft over an extended time frame. Between April and May 2025, during late hours, he repeatedly broke into two catering venues, stealing a considerable amount of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages valued at over 1,000 euros. Following an interrogation by the acting prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Nikšić, KV was ordered to be detained for 72 hours,” according to the statement from the UP.
