Bijelo Polje and Berane Police Press Charges: Anti-Aircraft Ammo and Pistol Discovered

The police forces of Bijelo Polje and Berane have charged four individuals with illegal weapon possession, as reported by the Police Directorate (UP) today.
The statement indicated that following expert evaluations, Bijelo Polje police have lodged criminal charges against AZ (40) and NG (49), both residents of Bijelo Polje, on the grounds of suspected illegal possession and use of weapons and explosives.
The Police Department further added that, based on relevant expert reports, the Berane police have filed charges against V.Đ. (67) for the alleged offense of illegal possession and use of weapons and explosives.
“Two larger-caliber anti-aircraft ammunition and two spare charges for mines were discovered in his family residence,” the UP mentioned.
Additionally, the Berane police conducted a search of the premises utilized by JM (65), where they found a nine-millimeter Beretta pistol that was illegally owned.
“The prosecutor from the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Berane, informed of the occurrence, has directed that the identified weapon be sent to the Forensic Center of the Police Directorate in Danilovgrad for necessary examination, with criminal charges to follow based on the findings,” the UP stated.
