The members of the Montenegrin boxing team, Bojana Gojković and Tomislav-Bato Đinović, have arrived in Žabljak today to commence the initial phase of their preparation for the World Championships, scheduled to take place in Liverpool from September 4th to 14th.
Accompanying them is national team coach Nikola Ružić, who emphasized the excellent training conditions in Žabljak, which include a state-of-the-art sports center outfitted with top-quality equipment and professional rings, along with comfortable accommodation and a surrounding area ideal for hiking and recreation, all within a secluded mountain environment.
“We will spend 20 days in Žabljak to complete our first phase of preparations for the World Championship. The working conditions here are outstanding, largely due to BSCG President Aleksandar Klemenko’s efforts in providing the Sports Center in Žabljak with the latest boxing equipment a few years back. These remarkable conditions significantly enhance the chances of Bojana and Tomislav being fully prepared and in peak condition for the World Championship,” Ružić remarked, adding:
“Following our time in Žabljak, we will advance to the second phase in St. Petersburg, after which we will participate in a control tournament, culminating in our final preparations for Liverpool,” concluded coach Nikola Ružić.
